Sunday, June 11 will mark the world premiere performance of our own Zak Grafilo’s Mahler Lieder eines Fahrenden gesellen (Songs of a Wayfarer) transcription for string quartet and mezzo-soprano (Kindra Scharich). The event will be presented by LIEDER ALIVE! and will also mark the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to support the recording of three of Mahler’s beloved song cycles.
